Glenn Hopper Owner/President
In 1968, Glenn became co-owner with his twin brother Lynn Hopper in Mountain Home and his brother Merlin Hopper of Heber Springs. He then moved to Heber Springs in 1990 with his family to become owner of Hopper Termite of Heber Springs.

Glenn is a member, past president and active board member of the Arkansas Pest Management Association. He is also a member of the National Pest Management Association and licensed by the Arkansas State Plant Board in termite and pest control.

Glenn is a member of the First Baptist Church of Heber Springs. His family includes his wife Billie Hopper, one son Danny Hopper, and a daughter Glenda Derrickson. Glenn enjoys helping in the Heber Springs community and other leisure activities such as hunting, fishing, and playing music with his friends.

Glenda Derrickson
Glenda worked with her father, Glenn Hopper, from 1974 to 1991 in the Mountain Home office. When she moved to the Heber Springs area, Glenda was the office manager.

Glenda was a member of the Arkansas Pest Management Association and the National Women in Pest Control Management. She held a pest control license issued by the Arkansas State Plant Board.

Glenda's survivors included her husband, Mark Derrickson, daughter, Kristie Newcom, and sons, Cliff Derrickson and Kyle Derrickson.


Danny Hopper

Danny Hopper
Danny grew up working for his father at Hopper Termite in Mountain Home at a young age. He then moved to the Heber Springs area in 1990.

Danny is a member of the Arkansas Pest Management Association and a member of the National Pest Management Association. He has a termite control license issued by the Arkansas State Plant Board.

Danny has a daughter Danielle Hopper who attends Heber Springs High School. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and is a NASCAR fan.


Roger Harlan

Roger Harlan
Roger has been employed at Hopper Termite & Pest Management since 1978. Roger has a license in both termite and pest control issued by the Arkansas State Plant Board.

Roger's family includes his wife Linda, son Jeff Harlan, son Brian Harlan and daughter Angie Reeves. Roger and his family have been long time residents of the Cleburne county area.

Roger is also an ordained Baptist minister. He enjoys raising horses, horseback riding and many other community activities.


Kristie Newcom

Kristie Newcom
Kristie Newcom is the Office Manager. She is the granddaughter of co-founder Glenn Hopper and daughter of the late Glenda Hopper Derrickson, who died of cancer.

Kristie began working at the family business the summer of 1993 when still in high school and continued working part-time until graduation in 1995. She began full-time work shortly after graduation and learned office management from her mother. After her mother’s death, Kristie took on the role of Office Manager.

Kristie and husband Josh Newcom have two daughters, Madison Dove and Isabella Sky. She enjoys time with her family, outdoor activities on the lake, and watching her husband play music. She does crafts, scrapbooking, and photography. Kristie and Josh share a studio outside Heber Springs for Josh’s music recording and Kristie’s photography.
