Pest Control Service Technician

Do you love working outdoors, solving problems, and helping people while taking on new challenges? As a Pest Control Service Technician, you’ll protect homes, businesses, and the surrounding environment from unwanted pests using the latest products, technology, and equipment.

This full-time role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on, technical work and connecting with customers. No experience? No problem. We provide full training to help you succeed.

With regular, predictable hours, stable year-round work, and starting pay from $27,040 to $30,710, there’s plenty of room to grow as you gain experience and skills.

JOB DUTIES:

Inspecting houses for signs of termites or other organisms. This involves crawling in and under homes and in tight spaces.
Building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
Work and communicate well with other coworkers and office staff.
Develop and implement solutions for customers’ pest problems.
Applying chemicals in residential and commercial settings.
Recording inspection findings and materials used in detail with a smartphone or tablet.
Properly maintain work vehicle, equipment, and tools.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Love to work outdoors, in all weather
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Friendly attitude
Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivator and ability to stay focused
Excellent time management skills
Enjoy working with and helping people
Proficient with technology and hand tools
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Minimum of 2 years work experience, NO pest control experience required
Possess a strong work ethic
Ability to make good decisions when no one is watching

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional Saturdays during peak seasons as needed.
