Job Opportunities

We are currently seeking a Termite Technician who enjoys hands-on problem solving, working outdoors, physical and technical work, and building relationships with customers. As a Service technician you will help protect homes, businesses, and the surrounding environment from unwanted pest using technology, products, and equipment. The ideal candidate has a solid work ethic, strong communication skills, a desire to work with people, integrity, and a drive to help protect the health and safety of the public and environment. This position provides the opportunity to learn, work and grow with a local family owned industry leader. Previous experience is a plus; however Hopper Termite and Pest Management will provide All training and certifications needed.

Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. Some Saturdays when needed. Pay is competitive, based on experience. We offer a fun upbeat environment that is family oriented.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Inspecting houses for signs of termites or other organisms
  • Building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Develop solutions for customers pest problems
  • Applying chemicals in residential and commercial settings
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Enjoy working outdoors in all weather.
  • Self-motivator and ability to stay focused
  • Ability and desire to learn about the pest industry

We are currently seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant/Customer Support Specialist to join our team! The candidate must possess a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and computer and clerical proficiency. Additionally, the candidate must enjoy working with people and the public (customer service skills), be a team player, work well in a face paced environment, and be detail orientated.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, rely messages and route calls.
  • Maintain accurate records of important client comments and interactions.
  • Build and maintain solid customer relationships by answering account questions, taking payments, and providing information about services and rates with professionalism
  • Use computer software to schedule appointments and assist preparing daily work schedules for multiple service technicians
  • Effectively use problem solving skills to appropriately and efficiently solve any customer issues or concerns.
  • Take ownership of customer concerns and communicate with managers and technicians to resolve issues with scheduling and services.
  • Prepare customer mailings, and other administrative tasks/support.
  • Generate work orders and perform data entry
  • Other duties/tasks as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous administrative and customer service experience desired
  • Possess a strong work ethic
  • Proficient with computer programs
  • Proficient at typing
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability and desire to learn about pest industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work as a team and help co-workers when needed
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must work well in fast-paced busy office environment
  • Must be able to act as a liaison between office staff, technicians, and customers
